Cool PL alternative idea!
Hey, y'all! just a super quick post to talk about a Studio Calico blog post that caught my eye! The photo above is from the SC blog, link below.
This is a planner page by Lisa Truesdell, aka gluestickgirl, CT member at Studio Calico. Instead of doing traditional PL, she is using a Hello Forever planner to keep her photos and journaling! This is such a "DUH!" moment for me and her idea is so ingenious! Aren't those "why didn't I think of that?!" ideas always the best?
I never understood or got into planners because I just use my phone. I need it to remind me of appointments, which a paper planner will not do! Plus, it would get beaten up in my too-full purse and I'm not a "neat" notekeeper, so it would be hot mess express. But this is so cute for just a simple, creative way to add photos on dates and add journaling, while using some PL or planner supplies.
This would also be a great solution if you only have a few photos. Or an awesome idea for a PL spread, using blown up planner pages in 12x12 sleeves. It would be like a hybrid between traditional scrapping and PLing. So cute!
Every since I've seen this I've been obsessed with this idea! Maybe I'll pick up a cheap-o planner at an office supply store and see if it sticks before I pony up for a fancy-pants planner!
