2016 PL Week Nineteen

Hi, everyone! I'm back with another weekly PL layout using the May Citrus Twist Pocket Life kit. I was a little short on photos this week, as life has been hectic and I've definitely been letting photographing the everyday slide. Mental note: get back on it!

I made this filler card using the 6x6 papers and a few embellishments. Since this paper is so pretty and busy, I definitely felt like it could stand on its own as a filler card with just a few punches of texture from the cut apart and cork hearts.

I LOVED the stickers in this month's kit! This is a cloud with a screenshot of the weather, which ahs been unseasonably chilly!

I layered a 2.5"x2.5" photo on top of a 3x4 journal card so you could still see the words printed on it. And I added a cork heart to the filler card on the right. I love that look when an embellishment nestles in perfectly with a card design!

I journaled a tiny bit on a label and layered it with another sticker from the pack on the photo on the left. And I layered another cork heart and a sticker on the filler card on the left. Have I noticed a trend here...? I might be finding my style!

For the weekly title card, I didn't want to print it on plain white because I thought that would stick out too much on this bright layout. So I printed it on a 6x6 sheet cut down and I LOVE how that looks! So simple and effective!

This layout was a breeze to put together. I can't say enough about how handy it is to have kits that perfectly coordinate when you're trying to do this quickly but still make it cute. It makes life 100X easier!
