2016 PL Week Twenty and a GIVEAWAY!

Hello and thanks for dropping by! I have been trying to work through my backlog of kits and catch up on my project life. Keep reading for the details on this layout and a giveaway!

For this week, I decided to use my Elles Studio May kit that I won in an Instagram giveaway. I happened to have two of this kit so I decided to share the wealth and do a giveaway. Deets at the end of this post.

Since the kit comes with cards and some die cuts, I supplemented it with some embellishments from my stash.

The week title card is a combination of Studio Calico stamps (the arrows, top left), Studio Calico alphas (the black and white asterisk and "20"), a Citrus Twist acrylic piece (the script "week"), and the dates (a Scraptastic print and cut file). The "May" card and "around here" circle die cut are from the Elles Studio kit.

I love the "priority" die cut from the kit on the photo on the right!

This "The Good Life" card is from the kit. I added some circle die cuts from the kit, with the "captured" die cut and the orange tag layered underneath. The little birdie on the top left is a puffy sticker from Pinkfresh.

Here, the card on the left is from the kit and the green arrows are a diamond shaped die cut that I cut in half and made into arrows. I used a couple of pink chipboard word stickers, and another Pinkfresh puffy sticker. The diamond die cut on the right side photo on the bottom left is another of my favorites from this kit!

I really liked this kit and I was happy to have tried it out! Even though it didn't come with embellishments, it was easy to coordinate with things in my stash. The cards are very pretty and versatile.
