Mini moon mini album mini roundup
Sometimes I'll buy older kits on sale and save them to use in a mini album for events that happened in those months. For this album, I'm using some of my stash and some of the Gossamer Blue September 2016 pocket pages kit that I got on sale.
This is the next page in the album. The bottom photo is the adorable country house we stayed in with a chipboard piece from the GB kit. The top left red card is a cut down 4x6 card from another GB kit. I added it to balance the red from the plate photo on the top right that I cut in half to fit into 2 3x4 pockets. I did my journaling and stamped B+B FTW using Elle's Studio Jonah stamps and added a cute bow paperclip for some texture. The bottom right card is filler to keep it from getting too busy.
That's all I have for pocket pages, but I also added a few full-page photos and layouts.
I made these two spreads a while back and shared them on instagram.
The one on the left is made with a card from a Feed Your Craft and Brandi Kincaid collabo. I fussy cut the top card and bottom photo in the same shape, but mirror images to highlight the lighthouse. I am really bad at fussy cutting and this would have been so much more polished if I had nesting circle dies to cut cleanly! I added some enamel dots and mermaid colored sequins.
The one on the right is a collage I made using the packaging from some Studio Calico stickers and lots of embellishments and scraps from my stash. It was super fun to make! I just took the negative space from the sticker packaging and backed it with some tiny photos and papers then embellished with chipboard, enamel, and puffy stickers. I was inspired by a post on the Studio Calico gallery for this idea.
These two pages are just 6x8 photos I had printed at Costco (I combined them in the picframe app and printed one 12x8, then I cut it in half for two photos). These are two of my favorite photos from the trip, so it was a no-brainer to blow them up.
For both, I just added a cluster of embellishments from the Gossamer Blue kit. I loved those wood hexagons! I added a tiny bit of detail with a label.
For this one, I added a label, a sticker, some wood veneer and that gold geotag. The enamel piece is from a different Gossamer Blue kit, I believe. I am also obsessed with those gold and light blue star confetti pieces. I want to put them on everything!
I still have tons of photos to add to this album and I will definitely share them here, so stay tuned for that. Thanks for reading!
