Every Day Love Traveler's Notebook layout and process video

Hi! I'm back today sharing this layout in my traveler's notebook.

I've been seeing this trend lately of people using florals to look like they're exploding out of something. That may be a poor way to describe it but check out this video from Laura Rahel Crosby if you don't know what I mean (BTW can we talk about awesome the concept of a collective feminist scrapbook is?!). I love that look, but it's never been my style to use lots of florals.

So I set out on this page to make something similar but in a way that was my style. I initially wanted to do that look with the labels. I print and cut a million labels from Scraptastic printables and the pages have these square shapes. I never use them, so I thought I would try to use them in a different way. My plan was to add the labels so they looked like they were coming out of the washi tape. After I did that, I decided I could push myself a bit further, so I added some die cuts from my deep stash (ie I completely forgot I even had them!) to look like they were coming out from the other side of the washi.

I love that these little traveler's notebook spreads are so easy to put together that I feel like I can take some risks. I also love that  made this little notebook myself and use up my scraps in it, so it really feels like an upcycling project to me!

The video is below, thanks so much for visiting!
