Hi, all! Welcome back! This is just a really quick post about a 12x12 pocket page I made for my 2014 album of instagrams. I used up some Studio Calico pieces from February's Documenter kit, as well as other random bits and pieces.
This card made me so happy! I actually did not like the February Studio Calico Documenter kit much so I was super pleased to be able to use one of the 4x6 cards in a layout and I was super happy how it came out!  I added the "You" from an Amy Tangerine chipboard sticker pack that I picked up for cheap at Tuesday Morning. (Correction: They are Crate Paper Confetti chipboard phrases.)

In between photographing the whole page and photographing this card, I decided to add some thin marker to outline the letters because they weren't standing out very well. It looks messy close up, but much better than far away! I used some of the Citrus Twist 6x6 pad scraps and embellishments from Citrus Twist kits.

It's been an interesting experiment doing these pocket pages with completely different events. It's been fun to try to tie everything in using just papers and embellishments since the pictures don't match at all!

How do you make photos work when they don't coordinate with each other? I'd love to hear your tips! Thanks for reading!

P.S. I tried a new thing and added this layout to the gallery at Scrapbook.com here if you want to check it out! Just seeing how that goes :)
