2016 Mini Album (Charlotte Part I)

Hi, everyone! Today I am sharing the first few pages of a mini album I'm making of those special little trips I'm taking in 2016. The first little trip is 4 days I spent in Charlotte visiting my friend and her new baby! I just began subscribing to the Scraptastic TLN (you can read about the April kit here) and I am loving it! That is what I am using exclusively for the first part of this album.

While travelling, I made a point to keep all of the memorabilia I came across so I could add it to my book. I began by using my ticket folder and stapling a postcard from the Charlotte airport as my first page. The Southwest colors and the blue in the postcard really go with my color scheme, so this was great!

The first page is the April card (I need to stamp the dates on that!) along with a photo I took at the airport during my layover and my tickets layered with a few of Scraptastic's stickers and embellishments.

For each day of the trip, I chose a filler card, stapled on one of the vellum numbers and used the awesome alpha stamp to stamp "day." This is repeating through the album. I also added journaling for every day or I will add labels to identify an activity or a place. I kept it pretty simple by using 3x4 photos and filler cards and layering on the printables and stickers. I love Scraptastic's print and cut printables! It gives you so many options!
