2016 PL Week Twenty One
Hi, everyone! I'm back with my Week 21 layout using bits and pieces from Studio Calico and Citrus Twist kits. I was very low on photos for this week so I used the back of a 6x12 insert right before it, making this project work for me!
I had some bits of 6x6 papers left over from the mini album I made using the CT kit. For the top 4x6 card, I layered some scraps and sewed around the perimeter. I layed the scraps so that one row of circles with words in them would be showing. This also worked out because I didn't have a fill 4x6 piece of paper left from the kit! I also added the heart puffy stickers in a triangle around the Jillibean Soup "hello" sticker. I used one of the puffy heart stickers to cover up a sentiment in one of the circles that didn't really suit my layout.
When I'm looking at what I like in other people's spreads, paper layering is not something I usually look for, but for some reason, I can't stop doing it! Maybe this is my style and I should just accept that, haha!
Even though this photo isn't a "good" photo, I still love it! This is why I do PL. This photo of us goofing around in our kitchen would just sit on my phone and no one would see it. now it's recorded and I will be able to remember this forever. We have been binge watching The Walking Dead so my boo was pretending to be a zombie and eating my face. It's a silly joke but I'm so glad I got it!
To finish off this week, I printed off my weekly card on patterned paper and added a label and puffy sticker. Easy peasy!
Thanks for reading!
